Cucovata Guest House is one of the few left original Bulgarian Revival houses in Kalofer. Dating back to 1878 a little before the Bulgarian liberation from Ottoman slavery the house remain hidden behind two meters high thick stone walls. Cucovata Guest House welcomes its guests with a lush in greenery garden and a romantic cobbled-stone path, which will lead them further inside the garden till the beautiful Revival house is revealed in full in front of them. Cucovata Guest House is entirely restored and its architecture is preserved completely. The interior is adapted to the modern day requirements for comfort. The house may accommodate up to 12-13 guests in six delightful rooms with new furniture, TV set with cable television, local heating system. The rooms have preserved the original fretwork ceilings, wooden beams and couches, old stoves. Cucovata Guest House offers a beautiful sunny tavern with a furnace and a fireplace, as well as a fully equipped modern kitchen with a cooker and a refrigerator, where the guests may prepared their own food according to their taste and needs. The house garden attracts with its enchanting mature trees and flower beds.
